Possible updates about One UI 9

A report indicated that Google is working on a feature to sync the “Do Not Disturb” mode across all Android devices simultaneously. Mentions of this new feature were found in version 26.02.31 of Google Play Services, showing that progress is being made.

The function should be visible in the “Multi-Device Services” part of Android 17 settings. When activated, it allows the system to sync the “Do Not Disturb” mode across all Android, ChromeOS, and Wear OS devices linked to the same Google account, ensuring a uniform notification experience.

Google is reportedly developing a feature known as “Universal Clipboard,” enabling users to swiftly copy and paste text across different devices, potentially benefiting individuals who use multiple devices for work. This feature is anticipated to be integrated into One UI 9.

When can we expect the release of One UI 9?

One UI 9 is expected to launch with the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Flip8 in the second half of this year, followed by a gradual rollout to other compatible devices.
