Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro have been certified and further details are disclosed.

Xiaomi is getting ready to launch the Xiaomi 17T series, which includes the 17T and 17T Pro models. Following a leak disclosing details about the processor and battery, both devices have been approved by the United States FCC. The FCC provided additional information about the models, confirming the RAM, storage, battery capacity, and charging capabilities.

The Xiaomi 17T, identified as “2602DPT53G” in the FCC listing, was found to have a 6,360 mAh battery, likely to be advertised as 6,500 mAh. The FCC certification also revealed the inclusion of a 100W “MDY-15-EV” adapter, indicating compatibility with rapid charging.

The standard model will include Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS support. It will also operate on HyperOS 3, a version of Android 16. Additionally, two versions were discussed: one with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, and another with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro, identified by model number “2602EPTC0G,” is certified for reverse charging via both wired and wireless methods. It will feature Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, 5G, NFC, and GPS connectivity options. The device will be available in three variants: 12 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 512 GB, and 12 GB + 1 TB, running on HyperOS 3 with Android 16.

What can you anticipate from the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro?

The Xiaomi 17T is likely to come with the Dimensity 8500 chip, which is also found in the recently released POCO X8 Pro. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is anticipated to feature a more advanced processor, the Dimensity 9500.

The two models may see battery enhancements, with the 17T expected to feature a 6,500 mAh battery and the 17T Pro possibly coming with around 7,000 mAh.

The Pro version of the camera is expected to feature a 50 MP main sensor, 50 MP and 12 MP ultrawide telephoto lenses, along with a 32 MP front camera. It is also likely to come with an IP68 certification.

When is the release date?

Rumors suggest that Xiaomi may release the 17T line earlier than anticipated, possibly in the second quarter rather than the end of the third quarter as with the 15T series.
